Library of Service Routines for Peripherals on Educational Kit with Freescale MCU
Grunt, Pavel ; Tříska, Vít (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with designing and implementation of a library of service routines for peripherals on educational kit with Freescale microcontrollers. It presents the laboratory kit, features of individual peripherals and ways of comunication with them. Further, the thesis describes developing the driver for LCD touchscreen on auxiliary kit module and its use in graphic library Freescale eGUI.
The role of WT1 gene and other molecular biological abnormalities in testicular germ cell tumors
Bakardjieva - Mihaylova, Violeta ; Boublíková, Ludmila (advisor) ; Chovanec, Michal (referee) ; Kiss, Igor (referee)
Testicular germinal tumors (TGCT) are relatively rare solid tumors in adults. Even so, they affect more than 700 men a year in the Czech Republic, mostly young patients aged 18- 45 years. A large number of patients are curable by a combination of surgery and chemotherapy, yet about 50 men a year in the Czech Republic succumb to this tumor, in the vast majority of cases due to the development of resistance to chemotherapy containing cisplatin. The rare occurrence and high curability are probably the cause of infrequent molecular and clinical studies carried out in these tumors, and our understanding of the biological processes leading to primary tumor development and the development of cisplatin resistance (CDDP) is still limited. At present, no specific molecular markers that could be used as prognostic or predictive factors and improve patient stratification or treatment tailoring are available in TGCT management. In this work, we studied the molecular-genetic background of TGCT development and CDDP resistance at several levels. To comprehensively study the development of cisplatin resistance, we prepared and analyzed CDDP-exposed TGCT cell lines. Long-term exposure to CDDP increased resistance 10-fold in the NCCIT cell line, while no significant resistance was achieved with Tera-2. The...

Electronic kits in physics education
Hnyk, Michal ; Žilavý, Peter (advisor) ; Dvořák, Leoš (referee)
Title: Electronic kits in physics education Author: Michal Hnyk Department: Department of physics education Supervisor: RNDr. Peter Žilavý, Ph.D., Department of physics education Abstract: This diploma thesis named Electronic kits in physics education contains five main parts. It deals with the use of electronic kits in the physics education and references a research of literature discussing this problem in the first part. Thesis offers a brief overview of types of electronic kits, which are being used in education in schools of the Czech republic in the second part. The third fundamental part then describes the design of the prototype of kit suitable for education and documents the construction including the experience, which author acquired during the work, and technological processes. Fourth part of the work documents the piloting of the kit. The Builder's guide, which is a part of the kit and serves as a source of knowledge and suggestions for the user, is presented in the last part. Keywords: electronics, kit, education
A file of measuring tasks using RC Didactica building kit
KOPECKÝ, Jan
In my dissertation I look into different possibilities of an electrotechnical construction set RC Didactic. The thesis is primarily focused on demonstration of posibilities of the construction set on created tasks. During the processing of these tasks both hardware and software equipment of the construction set are used. Another topic which this thesis is dealing with are issues of application of existing tasks which are provided along with the construction set, than its parameters and projections of the construction set for aplication during classes and also didactical aspects of the construction set.
